Born Pretty Store Nail Chain Review

I received a fun nail art product from Born Pretty Store to share with you this afternoon!

This 100 cm chain comes in either silver or gold and retails for just $2.99. It comes in one piece and has to be cut, but I was able to just use an old pair of plain scissors that I wasn't worried about dulling for that.

I painted my nails half and half, some off-center, and with polka dots on my middle finger and stripes on my ring finger, using China Glaze Electric Beat and Gaga for Green.

The chain was a little difficult to get used to at first. It didn't want to lay on my nail and stay there while I measured it. Then once I got the hang of it, I put down a line of topcoat to adhere the chain. It took a little practice to get it to lay even, too. It kept wanting to twist. I found it easiest to use a small dotting tool to move it around and place it properly.

Overall, I love the look chains give to a mani! Even if you drown them in Seche Vite, I don't suggest putting them near the tip of your nail though, because the first two links began to lift at the tip of my ring finger in less than two hours.

It is definitely a unique look, though. I haven't seen many manicures floating around with chain incorporated into them!

Of course, if you'd like to pick some chain up to play with for a decent price and free shipping, or just want to check out some of their new products, use my code ANL91 for 10% off your order when you shop Born Pretty!
