I Heart Polish Nails - Stamping Plate QA86 Review

My final post for this round of Born Pretty Store reviews is over stamping plate QA86.

The stamping plate has snowflake and heart images, so I decided to use the hearts, and accompany them with an "I <3 Polish" design across the other four nails.

Twinsie Tuesday - Interlocking Design + Untriedicure #10

Before we get into my mani for today, I have to note that I have found my new favorite topcoat pairing!

I love Seche Vite, but I hate how it shrinks. Since I'm a broken record, always complaining about it, I was gifted HK Girl to try, but I've found HK Girl is a little too thin for me. It takes three coats to equal the coverage and thickness I'd get with one coat of Seche. So to eliminate the shrinking, I've been topping my manis first with HK Girl, then one or two coats of Seche depending on what I need. This combo has been working out perfectly for me! They both dry fast and shiny, and last nice and solid, for the duration of my manicure.

I started my nails for today with Sally Hansen White On, then added stripes of Sally Hansen Peach Babe, and Julep Linden. Once I did this, though, I absolutely loved it, even though it was so clean and simple! So I had to keep that mani for a day before adding to it to create my interlocking design.

Pastel Rainbow IG Nail Collab

What seems like a century ago - ya know, in April - since Heather and I arranged our last Instagram nail collab. The theme this time around was pastel rainbows.

For my collab mani, I decided to do some semi-pastel skittles with silver holo flower glitters.

Twinsie Tuesday - Inspired by Nature

I always thought swatches of Sally Hansen Lava looked awesome, so I finally caved and made it my own. Then when I saw this design from Adventures in Acetone, I knew it would be perfect for a replicate molten lava rock mani!

Mommy's Mani Monday - Combined Styles

I've got a ton of posts scheduled for the upcoming couple of weeks (I'm predicting two but it could be more) because *super excited face* I'm moving! What am I most excited about? I'm getting my own polish room!!

So while I am out doing all that, I probably won't be around much, but my posts will still be coming up!

The first of those is our Mommy's Mani Monday for July!

Guest Post from Crafty Nail

I'm finally settling back into the routine of things after vacation, and I have one more guest post to share! This time Jacqui is visiting!

-----------------

Hi everyone, my name is Jacqui. I hail from the beautiful Hudson Valley of New York State and I run a little nail blog called craftynail.com. I'm really happy to be guest posting at NailsLikeLace since I'm an avid and loyal reader of Amber's blog. I really like her style since it's kind of adventurous and you never really know what she'll be sporting on those nails of hers! I like a good surprise.

I've prepared a fun summer manicure for Amber's readers today! July is my fave month since it's my birthday month, my big OMD2 nail challenge runs for 31 days, and don't forget about BBQs, 4th of July and fireworks too! So to celebrate all things JULY I've got a fun Americana skittles mani for you.

Twinsie Tuesday - One-stroke Flowers

I got to test my skills today with these one-stroke flowers! I went simple and just did some pink and cream daisies over a lime green Minnie Mouse peelable polish (Fing'rs You Had Me at Yellow as the leaves), with Sally Hansen Berried Under as a double accent.

Guest Post from Zebra Nails

Hey dolls! I have another guest post for you today! I invited Irina to post for you all, and was thrilled when she agreed, because I am always in awe of her gorgeous swatches and nail art!

-------------------

Hello dear readers of NailsLikeLace!

I am Irina from zebra-nails blog and I am very happy to be here today! I love Amber's manicures and it's an honor to show my nails on her blog :-).

Today I'll show you a cloud manicure. For this manicure I used blue nail polish - Golden Rose Color Expert #47 and white nail polish - Ados #502. I made clouds with a dotting tool and finished my manicure with a layer of top coat.

KKCenterHk Review - OPI I'm Never Amberrassed

I have a couple more KKCenterHk reviews to share with you! They asked me to pick a couple of polishes from their store to show here, so I went with OPI I'm Never Amberrassed and China Glaze Man Hunt.

Today I'll be showing you two manis I did using the OPI Sheer Tint.

For starters, one of the reasons I chose an OPI is because I wanted to check it for authenticity. I've heard too many horror stories about fake OPIs floating around, and being that KKCenterHk is not based in the U.S. and is not an authorized OPI retailer, I was skeptical.

I have to say though, after comparing this one to all my other OPIs, checking it for the tell-tale signs of a fake, and researching/talking with other nail girls who own it about the consistency of the polish, etc., I have concluded that it is NOT a fake. Assuming all the others are the same, I feel confident in saying the OPIs sold by KKCenterHk are legit.

With that being said, here is my first mani. I did a watercolor design using it, plus Sally Hansen Ice Tint, Grape Jelly, Vitamin D-light, and Sea Through, all topped with China Glaze Make a Spectacle.

Guest Post from Peace, Love & Polish

Today's guest post features my polish bestie Heather! Being that she is one of my best friends in this nail-addicted community, I knew I could take advantage of her and make her post for me while I'm gone! ;) She has a super cute mani to share with us today, so let's get to it!

-------------------------

Hi Guys! It's Heather from Peace, Love and Polish - your go to spot for everything nails and nail art! I am so excited to be guest posting for my polish BFF Amber while she's vacationing some where fun (and hopefully warm)! I decided to go with something Amber loves - PALM TREES! I just went simple with the overall design, and I truly love it!

Guest Post from Claws Up

Since Jacquie has been here before, I immediately knew I wanted to ask her to guest post for me again when I was lining them up to share while I am on vacation! I'm so happy she agreed! Let's see the mani she created for us today!

-------------------------

Hello lovely followers of Nails like Lace! My name is Jacquie, but I go by Littlemonsterx14 on the blogosphere, of the blog Claws Up. I am super excited to be guest posting for Amber. This actually isn't my first time at the rodeo, I guest posted for Amber a long time ago [here]. That was back when I had only been blogging for a month, and luckily my nail skills have improved since then.

For my post, I wanted to do something that I have been thinking about for a while. I have really wanted to try a morning dew look. I had tried a dew look a while back, probably around the same time I did my last guest post here, but of course it was an utter fail. This time I finally think I cracked the code!

Patriotic Owl Nails

Happy Independence Day to my fellow North Americans!

Today's mani came to me on a whim, so I didn't have much time to put into it, but I really wanted to squeeze this one in for the holiday!
