The Digit-al Dozen does Fashion Week

Last month's Digit-al Dozen theme was Fashion and I was unable to post any manis for that week, so when I finally got a chance to do them, I wanted to complete the five manis to keep up my no-miss record during my time in DD!

All images will be clickable to follow their respective links to the pinned inspiration pic.

Mommy's Mani Monday: One-Year Anniversary - Redo Your First MMM

First off - WOW! I can't believe it has already been an entire year since I took the plunge and decided to start Mommy's Mani Monday!

In such a short amount of time, we've become a nice little nail group, with a wide variety of talented, wonderful moms and I love it! Some have been with me for the entire journey and put up with the bumps at the beginning, others are fairly new to MMM. But it always amazes me what these lovelies can come up with for the prompts!

Twinsie Tuesday: Match Your Nails to Your Car

I'm pretty happy with how this week's Twinsie Tuesday mani turned out even though it is plain and simple! I cheated a little, but my nails legit match a car that is owned by someone in my immediate family, so not really!

The Digit-al Dozen Does Patterns on Patterns: Leopard Spots on Stripes

Today is round two of Digital Dozen week! Today, I kept with my base of stripes, but this time added leopard spots on top, and finished everything with a matte topcoat.

Radioactive Leopard Print

Another challenge I've been participating in is #NailArtJan from @Californails on Instagram. The theme for Day 8 is animal.

I've been loving Formula X Volt (from Day 4) so much, that I just kept it on, and added some leopard spots to it with Sinful Colors Savage (to compliment the blue sparkle in Volt) and a little black acrylic paint.

Mommy's Mani Monday - Inspired by Your Child(ren)

I decided to start a small group of nail girls that are moms: Mommy's Mani Monday! We will be following a theme for each post, and will be posting on the third Monday of every month. This month, being our premier, we are all doing manis inspired by our kid(s)!

KKCenterHk Review - Nail Art Brushes + Glow-in-the-Dark Neon Palm Trees, Leopard, Zebra, and Floral Skittles

Today I have another review. This time, a 15 piece brush set from KKCenterHk.

I tested out just a few of the different brushes. Here are the ones I used for this mani: a couple of small detail brushes, two striping brushes, and a dotting tool.

For my mani, I just did a big neon skittle of different prints, and palm trees!

Twinsie Tuesday - Redo a Past TT Theme

For today's theme, I redid two in one. I redid the "copcat" theme and the "animal  print" theme.

On the copycat side, I loved this leopard print mani by Heather so much that I had to do it myself! Plus, well, animal print... obviously. :)

Born Pretty Store Review - Ultra Fine Loose Glitter

I have a second Born Pretty Store product review today. I got a 12 pack of glitters from them to try out.

I started with a cheap yellow polish just to have something to stick the glitters to; sprinkled the yellow glitter on top of that, then let it dry, applied a thin coat of clear polish and another sprinkling of glitter.

On top of the glitter, I used China Glaze Thistle do Nicely for some neon pink leopard spots.

Irish Flag Inspired Leopard Print

Here's my first of three St. Patrick's Day designs for this year! Woohoo! I was afraid I wasn't going to have time to do any, but was able to squeeze some in thankfully. ^.^

Chalkboard Nails

I found a couple of the dual-ended Chalkboard Nail Art polishes from Revlon on clearance a little while ago. I realize this look could be achieved just as easily with a matte topcoat, but they were only a couple bucks, so I figured I'd play with them.

One end has a matte black polish with a regular brush, and a matte color with an art brush on the other end (cream: Teacher's Pet, pink: Overachiever).

Barielle Review - Falling Star & Rusted Vintage Boots

I got three polishes from Barielle to share with you. I showed you the first one about two weeks ago along with some nail art (you can revisit that post here). Today, I have swatches of the other two, Falling Star and Vintage Rusted Boots, and of course some nail art using them.

Twinsie Tuesday - Cutesy and Girly Nails

This week's theme is, obviously, a cute and girly manicure. When I think "girly", I think of rhinestones, glitter, and bows in pink or purple. Since pink is probably the most "girly" color there is, I went with my second option: purple, in an attempt to be a little different.

Quadruplet Collaboration Nails from Instagram

I've teamed up with a few other girls on Instagram to do collaboration nails quite a few times, then I'd Photoshop one picture from each of us together. So I have three to share with you that we've done in the past!

First up, we decided to do owl nails. I wanted to try owls in a way I hadn't before, and these ones were inspired by a Shabby Blogs background image I used to have.

The base gradient for these is Julep Claire and China Glaze Gaga for Green.

I stamped on top of the blue part with Essie Mesmerize and BM222, and over the green with ChG Holly-Day and BM309, then over the whole nail with ChG White on White and a design from BM222.
