Mommy's Mani Monday - Peeping Plush Polar Bears

Today for Mommy's Mani Monday, our theme was to seek out inspiration on Pinterest. Here is the image I was inspired by.

Of course, I had to make these peeping little polar bears my own, and added flocking powder for maximum fuzzy polar bear cuddles!

Pretty Woman Green Multi Chrome & China Glaze Swanky Silk Comparison

I was contacted by Pretty Woman, a 5-free and cruelty-free nail polish company based in New York, and was asked to try some of their products. I don't believe I was obligated to provide a publicized review of the products, but I figured I might as well since I am trying them out anyway.

So when they sent a large box of items, I was pretty surprised! I expected a polish or two, and maybe one other decor-type item. They actually sent me five polishes, a kit with four different crushed shells, and a bullion bead kit!

The first item I have to show today is one of their duochrome polishes. I'm not sure what the exact name of this polish is, though. From what I can tell in my research, I think it is called Green Multi Chrome, but the bottom of the bottle just says 'Chrome'; however, there is a pink metallic polish I'll show you later that also says just 'Chrome' on the bottom, but I think it may actually be called Rose Chrome, which I found on their website.

Well anyway, I just did a simple swatch of this polish. Two coats, no topcoat, and it dried pretty quick!

Twinsie Tuesday - Inspired by Nature

I always thought swatches of Sally Hansen Lava looked awesome, so I finally caved and made it my own. Then when I saw this design from Adventures in Acetone, I knew it would be perfect for a replicate molten lava rock mani!

Maybelline - Mystic Green

Well, I was going to do some nail art over this polish so I had more to present today than just a plain ole swatch, but as soon as I put this on, I didn't have the heart to cover it up with anything!

Striping Tape Triangles

I was playing around with striping tape designs the other day and drew up a triangle look. I decided to give it a go on my nails, and this is what I ended up with as a practice run to see how I liked it:
