Pastel Rainbow IG Nail Collab

What seems like a century ago - ya know, in April - since Heather and I arranged our last Instagram nail collab. The theme this time around was pastel rainbows.

For my collab mani, I decided to do some semi-pastel skittles with silver holo flower glitters.

Born Pretty Store Review - Loose Diamond Glitter

My final Born Pretty Store review for this round is a little pot of multi-colored diamond glitters.

According to the website, these glitters are 2mm, and the pot contains fuchsia, green, blue, red, silver, and gold diamonds.

I decided to use them in a harlequin pattern over black, with Sally Hansen In Prompt Blue and Orly Hot Tropics from their Summer 2014 Baked collection.

The glitters were easy to use. They didn't stick together and I didn't find any with missing chunks that were cut wrong or anything. They laid flat and were nice and thin.

Glitter Placement Tessellation

My idea for this mani came from Polish All the Nails and Jaunty Juli (I recreated her hand-painted version here) who I both saw tessellation manis from that I loved!

So for my glitter placement tessellation, I used Finger Paints Louvre This Pink as my base, and NOPI Be Awesome for the glitters.
