My Little Pony Nails

https://instagram.com/maherwoman/Today's mani is My Little Pony inspired!

I couldn't choose just one pony, so I picked five and painted their symbols: Rainbow Dash, Applejack, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, and Twilight Sparkle.

Foiled Butterfly Wings

Polishalcoholic painted some beautiful butterfly wings a while ago. I always see them everywhere and have been wanting to try them, so I finally did over my foil nails from yesterday based on her tutorial!

Foils and Fimos Video Tutorials

I loved the Born Pretty Store foils they sent me for review, so I bought a couple more and some fimos. The only fimos I had were a few different star shapes and I tried many times to like them but couldn't. So I figured maybe I would like another style better and they were super cheap!

Who ever said purple and grey don't go together?!

So this was another 'messing around' mani, playing with different colors to see how they look together. I had the idea to do a gradient in two colors that don't seem to be a common combo: purple and grey. Then I decided to add pink and black also. So I used Kleancolor Pastel Pink, Sally Hansen Lacey Lilac, L'Oreal Greycian Goddess, and a Petites' black:

I actually really love the gradient these made!

Someone Put a Ruffian in My Orange Juice

I love love loved my first Ruffian design so much that I immediately started coming up with other color combinations! The only metallics I have are silver, blue and pink. So I got the idea to franken a purple metallic and used it for this mani, along with Kleancolor Pastel Orange. Although, after I finished these nails, I'm not so sure that the orange was the best choice. =P I had been debating between it and a light green, but it looked better on paper with the purple; the green looked more Springish than I wanted. Oh well.
