Random Oldies

I have a bunch of random old manis to share with you today that I never got around to posting. These are manis that I was just playing around with but never had a lot to say about. These are mostly phone pictures, nothing super fancy. I just figured I'd post them before deleting them. No real reason.

The first picture is of two ruffians. I'd gotten into my box of frankens and just wanted to see what some of them would look like together. All four colors are nameless frankens, the left mani with some China Glaze Matte Magic.

Next, I have been getting Piggy Paint polishes for my little girl since they are safer for kids. I swatched one on my own nails just for the fun of it. I don't remember how many coats this one took, but I know it was more than four. It was a terrible topcoat eater, too!

Again, just messing around with Revlon Plum Night and NOPI Disco Dolls, I did a thick, one-stripe mani.

On the next manicure, I tried out a striped-ish dotticure with China Glaze Mahogany Magic, Passion for Petals, and Turned up Turquoise. I wanted to actually do this look, but was first trying out different color combinations and orders.

Next, a drag marble with China Glaze Holly-Day and Paper Chasin.

Lastly, a terrible nail fail! One "technique" that still drives me crazy is double stamping! I can stamp once fine, but stamping twice on one nail is something I still need more practice at! I used Claire's Breakfast at Tiffany's as my base for this mani, with Sinful Colors Most Sinful and then Sally Hansen Lickety-Split Lime stamped with BM309 and a drag marble in the same colors.
