The Digital-Dozen does Nail Heroes: Day 2 - Halloweenesque Vertical Stripes

For my second DD Nail Heroes mani, I recreated @c_michelangelo's vertical stripe mani from Halloween.

I'm pretty sure I've text this beautiful lady every single day now for at least two years! Being one of my polish BFF's, of course I had to pay homage to her during Nail Heroes week!

Catherine is my "hey what temperature should I cook this chicken on? (because I don't know crap about food and she's Italian so....)", "yo wth is a picciato? (I still doubt I'm spelling that right and still have no clue what it is because I don't know crap about food)", chill af BFF that I would just prefer to not do without kthanks! We don't do sugar-coated and I love it!

I always admire Catherine's manis, she does fun and unique stuff. But for some reason, I just haven't been able to get over this one in particular! I don't know what it is about this color combo and style, even though it is just some simple striping. I didn't even have to think about it, this was my recreation choice, I adore it, I needed it on my own nails!

Strict, seasonally appropriate manis aren't a thing at Nails Like Lace. I wanted fun stripes in February, I painted fun stripes in February.

For my version, I used:

  • Julep Sam (green)
  • China Glaze Grape Pop (purple)
  • Sally Hansen Brisk Blue (blue - duh)
  • Pro Nail Lacquer The Little Black Dress (black - never would'a guessed)

Many X's and O's to my main chick! XOXOXO Here's to two more years and counting of delicious recipes and whimsical manis! But KC still should have beat the Pats. :)
