Guest Post: Blue and Gold Swirl Art with Anny Polish and Paint

Today's guest post is a sparky blue and gold combo from Ana!

Purchased By Me / Giveaway Prize

Hi guys, it's Ana from Anny Polish and Paint. I'm very honored that Amber gave me the opportunity to do a guest post. I've been following her for way over a year already, and I love her cute and fun nail art. I also enjoy when she puts together those wonderful nail art collaborations, they always come out great. Now let's get to the mani shall we?

I decided I wanted to do a simple, but fancy-looking design. I've been saving a temporary tattoo, and thought it'd be perfect for this mani. The polishes I chose were based off the colors of the tattoo, so I used Stardust Polish "Kinda Jazzy" as my base color on my index and middle finger. The tattoo was just an ordinary tattoo I purchased long ago from those coin machines you see at the stores. The part of the tattoo I used was part of a bigger piece that included a butterfly and flowers. I would've taken a picture of the whole, but I didn't think about it until after I'd cut it, so I apologize. Anyways, I cut out the gold/blue swirly wave design and applied them like you would any regular temporary tattoo. I placed them one at a time, on my index and middle nail, then I took a damp cotton ball and pressed it down. It took less than 10 seconds for the tattoo to transfer onto my nail. With a napkin, I lightly dried off the nails, and sealed the design with top coat. On my ring finger and pinky, I put down my base colors, Daily Hues Nail Lacquer "Aria" and Elf Nail Polish "Pot of Gold". I also painted the studs with the same polishes so they would match, and placed them on both nails. Again, I finished off with top coat to give it a beautiful shine.

Holding Daily Hues Nail Lacquer "Aria":

I liked how this mani came out. I was very happy with the polishes I chose, and I love how easy it was to apply the tattoos.

So before I go, I'd like to thank Amber for having me. I hope you all enjoyed this post and nail art. Thanks for stopping by, and until next time.
