Lucky 13 Lacquer: Sea Salt Scrub

Today I have a different sort of review - in that it isn't polish, but it is still nail care.

Lucky 13 Lacquer was very sweet to send me a sample of her new sea salt scrub to share with you!

For $4, you receive a "mix of sea salt, Himalayan pink salt, and skin-safe oils with a berry fizz scent", in a 6oz jar.

To use the scrub, a poured a small amount into my hand with a little water, and let it sit for a minute so the salt would start to dissolve because it is pretty coarse. Though I do like my scrubs to be coarse, I feel like they're more effective.

This stuff smells so good! It isn't strongly scented, but it has a delicious berry smell! Not gonna lie, I kind of wanted to lick it - although I don't recommend doing that.

I took care to avoid my actual nail beds when rubbing my hands together (about 30 seconds) so I wouldn't scratch them up, but in hindsight, I should have just put on a base coat to protect my nails so I could have scrubbed around my cuticles a little more.

After patting my hands dry:

There's oil left over after using the scrub, but it is the perfect amount of hydration! There isn't so much oil that you can't touch anything without leaving a residue, but enough to give your skin moisture.

Even four hours later my hands still feel super soft and smooth, and I haven't washed my hands again or used cuticle oil or hand lotion since the scrub!

So overall, I'm a big fan! The scrub works wonders, smells wonderful, and I definitely recommend it for some nice exfoliation and moisturization!
