Martinis for the Bachelorette

So I went to my B.F.F.F.F.F.F. of almost 2 decades' bachelorette party over the weekend, and decided I had to do special nails for it! ^.^

I know, martini glasses aren't really all that creative for party nails, but that section of my brain (along with the short-term memory and balance parts) has been shut off by pregnancy or something! =P

I started off with 2 coats of China Glaze's Dance Baby for this look, then added a coat of Sally Hansen Blushing Bride, and another coat of a bright pinkish franken with silver string glitter.

I then did the glasses with acrylic paint and filled them with China Glaze's Wicked Style. Finished them off with a shine and a green rhinestone for the olive.

Is it just me or does it really suck to have to use topcoat over rhinestones? It always dulls them and muddies them up. I hate it!!

In fact, if I hadn't put them around my cuticles on my other nails, I debated not even adding a topcoat and just sticking the rhinestones down as the very last step, and with super glue or something!

Regardless, I am pretty happy with how they turned out! Buenos dias. :)
