Singing Silent Night with the Palm Trees Blowing

I figured that my love for blue polish (and since this is a polish blog, the color should reflect that) + new CBOTB snowy, Christmasy blue and white snowflake layout items + boredom with my old layout = the new one! =D

What do you think? I haven't able to fix the wonky adjustments on the dashed, vertical, dividing line to get things away from it in the left sidebar, nor the part at the top of the header where the brown border just cuts off in the middle... but it'll do.

Anyway. I have nails to match! =D

For this look, I started off with a base coat, then a base color of (two coats) L.A. Colors Intimate, a super sheer beigey color with some sort of pink gold shimmer, to hide my horrible staining. The french tip is done in L.A. Colors Sea Siren and the snowflakes were stamped with Bundle Monster plate BM 14. I added a tiny bit of glitter in random places to the snowflakes with Pure ICE Oh Baby! but it's barely even noticeable, even if you're looking for it! =P Then Sally Hansen Insta-Dri top coat finished the look off.

Sorry for the mess around my cuticles, I did clean-up before the top coat and didn't realize I had apparently been so messy with the top coat. =P

My previous snowflake design is actually what inspired the idea of the new layout and this nail design. I liked the snowflake stamp so much that after I did the first look, I immediately began thinking up other snowflake designs! =D

What do you think? Do you have a favorite Christmasy or wintery design this year that you have either seen or done yourself? Thanks for stopping by and everyone have un día maravilloso!

P.S. Any idea where the title of this post comes from? =)
