Crushed Shell Drips

I was trying to be creative with the crushed shells kit Pretty Woman sent me, when I thought about trying a "dripping" crushed shells design.

Yesterday I shared a crushed shell mani fail. Today I am showing you the rest of the Pretty Woman kit those shells came from, and another design using them.

Pretty Woman Sweet Chrome + Crushed Shells

Today's Pretty Woman polish is another metallic. This one, like Neverland Chrome, says 'Chrome' on the bottom, but they are currently renaming some of their products, and this one is called Sweet Chrome.

It dried pretty fast, and was opaque in two coats. I could have gotten away with one, but wanted to be sure.

Crushed Shell Gradient

So I recently found a great sale on Apple Barrel acrylic paint at Walmart and got some of the huge 8oz bottles of paint for $2 a piece. Which is wonderful, considering the little 2oz bottles are just under $1!

Anyway, I decided to sponge (over a one-coat base of NYC French White Tip) a gradient with the 3 colors (sadly, there weren't many options) I'd grabbed: Grape Jam, Caribbean, and King's Gold.

After finishing the gradient, I stared at my nails, thinking now what?
