Leesha's Lacquer: Unearthed Collection - Swatches and Review

Press Sample

Today I've got swatches of Leesha's Lacquer's new Unearthed collection! It is a four-piece set of metallic shimmers with a cool duo-color to them. All swatches are shown with one coat of Seche Vite topcoat over them to make them shiny.

Magmatic
Up first is a golden orange metallic with bits of darker orange glitters and a touch of iridescent sparkle. It was opaque in two coats and dried very quickly to matte finish since it is so packed with pigment and shimmer! It wasn't tricky to work with, but I did have to take care in not touching my cuticles with the polish because it left behind a lot a that metallic shimmer even after it was cleaned up. Like the others, it left a lot of shimmer on my fingers when I removed it too.

Moss Grown
A beautiful pastel green shade with the same metallicy finish, bits of lime/gold, and iridescent shimmer. Another two coater, and it has the strongest iridescent metallic, almost reflection-like sparkle! This one also dried fast and to a matte finish.

Agate Shores
Another two-coater, a pretty, warm, lilac metallic. It has almost a pastel blue flash look to it. Again with slightly darker purple speckles and iridescent shimmer. I'm not usually a huge fan of purples, but this one is very delicate and pretty!

Celestial Coast
Lastly, my favorite of the collection is a gorgeous baby blue with pops of darker blue in a metallic finish. I absolutely adore the speckled look of this one loaded with sparkle! Again, two coats for opacity and a matte finish, but I love it with a shiny topcoat that brings out all that shimmer!

And because I wanted to play with them a little more, I created a springy gradient with Agate Shores and Celestial Coast, finished off with some white dots for fun.
