Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream

I've had my only Colores de Carol polish for a little while and finally wanted to get around to using it.

I've also been participating in a few challenges. I rarely do, but thought as I might as well, just for fun. One of them is Amy's Untried Challenge. The Day 3 theme is "goals".

I contemplated this theme for days, and finally figured out what I wanted to do. It's a little bit of a stretch, but here goes....

Lately, I've been trying to go outside my comfort zone when it comes to food. I'm a very picky eater, so I've been reluctantly trying some new recipes. They haven't been horrible, and obviously eating something new hasn't killed me yet, so I really don't know why I am so uptight about trying different stuff. I guess I know what I like, and if I know I like it, what's the point in getting something I'm not sure if I like or not? I know, I know. You won't know if you like something unless you try it. But why? I know I like the other one, so I might as well just stick with it.

Anyway, mint chocolate chip ice cream is one thing I've never eaten. So I thought it could be a representation of my trying new foods.

This challenge also forces you to use polishes from your untrieds stash, as a way to work through them. I used Colores de Carol Green for my ice cream (it was thick yet very sheer; if it is any indicator of the brand as a whole, I won't be purchasing), and Wet'n'Wild Yo Soy striped with OPI Clubbing til Sunrise for the cone.
