Born Pretty Store Review: Studs

I have one more product from Born Pretty Store to share with you today. This time it is a nail wheel full of silver and gold 2mm studs in circles and squares. I love the size of these studs. They are a perfect size for nail art and run $6.99 USD for about 350 studs.

For my first mani using these studs, I have a base of OPI Alcatraz Rocks that the wonderful Jolรจne (gashin_nails) sent me!

I kept this one simple since there is already so much going on with the textured polish, I just added one gold square stud to the base of each nail.

I didn't apply any topcoat, but just stuck the stud into my last coat of textured polish while it was still wet. I made sure to press them down really well since I wasn't going to be using a topcoat, and they stayed perfectly fine! I never had a single stud pop off! And I love how they accent Alcatraz Rocks!

I went a little crazy in my second mani. My base for this one is OPI I Have a Herring Problem. The white and black is acrylic paint.

I started out just doing some random stripes and dots and adding studs here and there. I never had a real plan in mind for this one.

I did apply a coat of Seche Vite over these studs, and never had one come off. Even the ones near the tips of my nails stayed perfectly fine!
