Mommy's Mani Monday: 1930's Star-Spangled Banner & Music Note Nails

In the throws of the almighty Google, I found out the U.S.' national anthem was designated as being Star-Spangled Banner during the 1930's (in 1931), so that's what I used as my inspiration for today's Mommy's Mani Monday "1930's" mani. It was difficult to come up with something for this theme, but I love how my design turned out!

I went with a distressed, washed out, abstract, American flag sort of design as the background. I started with OPI Tiramisu for Two, drybrushed that with Cajun Shrimp and China Glaze Shower Together, added a few white stars, then faded it all out with a couple sheer coats of OPI Put it in Neutral. Over all that, I used Born Pretty Store's music note water decals.

As always, don't forget to check out the #MommysManiMonday tag on IG to see more 1930's manis by the mamas!
