Crushed Shell Drips

I was trying to be creative with the crushed shells kit Pretty Woman sent me, when I thought about trying a "dripping" crushed shells design.

Rubik's Cube Color Block

As soon as I saw Salon Perfect Ruby's Cube, it told me it needed to become a color block mani. So I obliged, of course, and here it is!

Rainbow Whale Print - Bestie Twin Nails - Untriedicure #12

So I discovered this super cute little whale phone background image, and it inspired me to do whale nails! I've never seen whale print nails done before, so I thought I'd give them a shot!

I'd been staring into my untrieds polish box for an hour looking for inspiration, and decided to just pull a bunch of them out to create rainbow whales!

Twinsie Tuesday - Sideways French

I went simple this week, and used OPI Don't Talk Bach to Me, and Sally Hansen Cinnamon, topped with Anonymous Lacquer Girls Just Want to Have Fun on Moons and Stars, for my sideways French mani.

Pretty Woman - Nail Pearls Kit

Today is the day I get to take over Pretty Woman's Instagram account for a couple hours, and post nail art there! My time slot is 2-4 p.m. EST, and I'll be giving away two goody bags while I'm there, so make sure you come by and chat with me!

Since today is a Pretty Woman kind of day, I decided to try out the Nail Pearls kit they sent me!

Dupe Alert - Sky Blue Comparison

I started to put on Zoya Yummy the other day, and realized it appeared to look like Revlon Coastal Surf. Oh, wait... OPI No Room for the Blues too?

So I decided to grab all three, plus a fourth that looked similar, and compare them real quick.

Left -> Right (Index to Pinky): Zoya Yummy, Revlon Coastal Surf, OPI No Room for the Blues, and Orly Blue Collar.

Primary Colors/Colombian-Inspired Water Marble

About a month ago, when I did my animal print American Flag nails, one of my Instagram followers @paisitalove15 requested Colombian themed nail art.

I got them done and have finally found a chance to post them!

Twinsie Tuesday - Classic + Untriedicure #11

This week, I had trouble coming up with a design. Until I saw this fishtail braid mani from The Crumpet, and fell in love!

I decided to recreate mine with some previously untried textured polishes in more "classic" colors.

Mommy's Mani Monday - Inspired by Your Pets

If you saw my Instagram post, you know I lost two of my fur babies a little over a month ago. So today, I knew I wanted to do a mani in remembrance of them.

Neon & Nude Nails - Tips and Borders

Today I have a mani that I did about a month ago. I always love how Heather uses OPI Glints of Glinda, so I decided to try it out for myself, paired, of course, with a neon.

Twinsie Tuesday - Inspired by a Book

It's that time of the week again! Twinsie Tuesday. This week, we did manicures based on a book. Since my library consists of Biology 101, Intro to Psychology, SPA 300: Spanish Literature, and so on and so forth, clearly I wasn't excited to drone through for inspiration. Instead, I hit up Madison's bookshelf and discovered Elmo's Read Along Story about Little Boy Blue. It was the first book I grabbed, so I just went with it.

City Flourish Swirls and Chevrons

When a nail friend sent me a bunch of the China Glaze City Flourish polishes, I decided to play around with some of them; creating this chevron and drag marble mani using Strike a Rose (pink), Metro Pollen-tin (yellow), and What a Pansy (purple).

Pretty Woman Sweet Chrome + Crushed Shells

Today's Pretty Woman polish is another metallic. This one, like Neverland Chrome, says 'Chrome' on the bottom, but they are currently renaming some of their products, and this one is called Sweet Chrome.

It dried pretty fast, and was opaque in two coats. I could have gotten away with one, but wanted to be sure.

Twinsie Tuesday - Favorite Holo Polish **Reshare**

I still haven't gotten my polishes unpacked from our move, so I am going to reshare some of my favorite holo manis I have done before, using my all-time favorite holo polishes: the Color Club Halo Hues.

Pretty Woman Green Multi Chrome & China Glaze Swanky Silk Comparison

I was contacted by Pretty Woman, a 5-free and cruelty-free nail polish company based in New York, and was asked to try some of their products. I don't believe I was obligated to provide a publicized review of the products, but I figured I might as well since I am trying them out anyway.

So when they sent a large box of items, I was pretty surprised! I expected a polish or two, and maybe one other decor-type item. They actually sent me five polishes, a kit with four different crushed shells, and a bullion bead kit!

The first item I have to show today is one of their duochrome polishes. I'm not sure what the exact name of this polish is, though. From what I can tell in my research, I think it is called Green Multi Chrome, but the bottom of the bottle just says 'Chrome'; however, there is a pink metallic polish I'll show you later that also says just 'Chrome' on the bottom, but I think it may actually be called Rose Chrome, which I found on their website.

Well anyway, I just did a simple swatch of this polish. Two coats, no topcoat, and it dried pretty quick!

Warhol Polish Print

On Wednesday, I did an "I <3 Polish" mani, and I loved it so much that I decided to keep the polish bottle on my pinky and add to it.
